Gynoveda is a healthcare company founded in 2019 that focuses on infertility, PCOS, and menstrual disorders using Ayurveda. With 7 lakh customers, it aims to impact 1 crore couples over the next decade. The company grew from 0 to 100 crores quickly and is now expanding from online services to opening 200+ Ayurveda fertility clinics across 100 Indian cities. By 2026, Gynoveda plans to triple its revenue and grow its team from 170 to over 500.


Role Context


As an SDE 2/3-Backend at Gynoveda, specializing in Data Engineering, Integration, API creation, and DevOps, you will be a crucial part of our technical team. We seek a skilled individual with a strong background in backend development, data management, and API creation.


  • Job Title: Senior Software Developer, Backend (SDE-2/3)
  • Grade: Senior Manager
  • Location: Malad (Mindspace), Mumbai
  • Position Type: Full-time, in-office, 5 days a week
  • Role Type: Individual Contribution


Responsibilities:


Backend Development:


  • Develop and maintain scalable backend systems to support Gynoveda’s products, including customer-facing platforms and internal tools.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and front-end developers to implement high-quality solutions.


Data Engineering:


  • Design and implement secure, efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
  • Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across all systems.


Integration Specialist:

  • Seamlessly integrate CRMs, marketing automation tools, and third-party applications into existing systems.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance integrations to maximize reliability and performance.


API Creation:

  • Build secure, scalable APIs to facilitate smooth communication between platforms.
  • Maintain detailed API documentation (Swagger/Postman) to ensure ease of use and accessibility.
  • Collaborate on API standards and best practices to maintain consistency.


DevOps:

  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle.
  • Create robust deployment processes and manage cloud infrastructure.


App Development:

  • Collaborate on the development and maintenance of applications that sync with CRM systems.
  • Configure events and triggers to support automated marketing campaigns and analytics.


Requirements:

Academic Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years in backend development and data engineering roles.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing API solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js, Python, Java, and database systems (SQL).
  • Familiarity with Shopify integrations is an advantage.


Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in AWS (2+ years of hands-on experience).
  • Advanced-level understanding of Node.js and SQL.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and system scalability.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning.
