Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate Back-end Developer intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our development team to build and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs that support our educational platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your technical skills while contributing to a mission-driven organization.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, test, and maintain back-end components and server-side applications.
2. Work with databases to manage, retrieve, and manipulate data effectively.
3. Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
4. Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
5. Debug and resolve issues in existing applications.
6. Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation.
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in back-end languages such as Python, Node.js, or similar.
2. Familiarity with database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
3. Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
4. Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
