About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Back-End Developer specializing in Django and Flask. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance back-end systems for multi-million dollar US clients across various industries. With at least 3 years of experience, you will lead the development of complex web applications, mentor junior developers, and champion best practices in back-end development. This full-time, on-site position in Mumbai offers a chance to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and services using Django and Flask.
  • Build scalable and secure back-end systems to support complex web applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing components with server-side architecture seamlessly.
  • Design and manage databases, including schema creation, migrations, and performance optimization.
  • Optimize back-end systems for high performance and low latency.
  • Implement robust authentication and authorization systems for web applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Debug and resolve back-end issues to ensure smooth system functionality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in back-end development to drive innovation.


Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in back-end development with a strong focus on Django and Flask.
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying scalable APIs and back-end systems using Django/Flask.
  • Expertise in Databases: Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Containerization and Cloud: Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • API Design: Proficiency in building RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and debugging abilities with attention to detail.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions.
  • Soft Skills: Effective communication, time management, and an ability to work collaboratively in a team.
