About the group:

Markets Group (MG) provides treasury solutions to the customers in the corporate ecosystem consisting of large, mid and small enterprises. Treasury solutions consist of forex services, derivatives, structured products, interest rate hedging solutions amongst others. The team works closely with the Corporate Relationship teams and provide solutions suited to the needs of the customers. These solutions are embedded through the life cycle of corporate relationships across working capital, lending, payment solutions, supply chain finance, structured trade etc. The team works closely with customers to help them manage their financial risks with the right suite of products and solutions.


About the role:

A Dealer in Derivatives Flows Desk handles existing treasury relationships (large corporates with central treasuries) and works closely with cross-functional teams like transaction banking, business teams etc. to close the deal.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling existing treasury relationships (large corporates with central treasuries)
  • Understand their trade/balance sheet and hedging requirements
  • Pitching them to hedge their Foreign currency / Interest rate exposure and route trade flows with the bank.
  • Providing hedging solutions by pitching Forwards and Derivatives - product upgrades
  • Originate leads for debt market products
  • Providing daily market updates to the client by tracking market variables.
  • Pricing and execution of FX and Derivative deals with clients, and covering the same with internal desks (Interbank). It covers all pre deal activities, checks and balances during deal execution and post deal activities.
  • Focus on new client acquisitions within group companies of existing large corporates.
  • Achieve targets and improve market share.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams like transaction banking, business teams etc.


Key Skills:

  • 3 to 5 yrs. experience in sales of treasury products to large corporates with central treasury is preferred.
  • Should be able to price, execute and cover FX and Derivatives products with internal desks (interbank).
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with clients at all levels
  • Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
