Our Client is a highly respected, world-class organization with clients in the Fortune 500 worldwide. Our client is expanding its leadership footprint across India and South Asia and is looking for a motivated self-starter (representative) to be part of the Business Development team, based in Gurgaon. We are looking for a individual coming from Management Consulting background managed stakeholders.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Sales Business Development Manager to lead the sales efforts for our clients Digital Learning Platform - Passport, our flagship digital learning solution. This role requires an individual with deep experience in B2B digital sales, a strong understanding of leadership development, and the ability to identify, develop, and close large, complex deals. This is an opportunity to shape our clients digital transformation and expand the impact of Passport across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a sales strategy for Passport to meet revenue targets. Focus on identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within target sectors.
- Pipeline Development & Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and partnerships. Ensure consistent follow-up and relationship-building to move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Consultative Selling: Understand the leadership development needs of prospective clients and position Passport as a solution to address these challenges. Leverage a consultative approach to demonstrate how Passport can drive impact and meet clients' business objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop long-term client relationships that foster trust, loyalty, and repeat business. Regularly engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and ensure Passport is delivering value.
- Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning. Share insights with the product and marketing teams to help shape Passport’s product roadmap.
- Collaboration & Cross-functional Engagement: Work closely with our clients marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless and impactful client experience. Contribute to marketing initiatives, product feedback sessions, and customer success planning.
- Contract Negotiation & Closing: Manage contract negotiations and ensure smooth contract execution. Collaborate with legal and finance teams as needed to close deals in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or enterprise sales, with a focus on digital learning solutions, leadership development, or SaaS products.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of leadership development and the challenges organizations face in upskilling leaders digitally.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a complex sales environment. Experience with consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, client needs, and sales performance to optimize strategies and ensure Passport’s value proposition aligns with client demands.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders.
- Technology Savvy: Familiarity with digital learning platforms, LMS systems, and leadership development tools. Knowledge of CRM systems and proficiency in sales and business analytics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
