Job Title: Project Manager – Program Planning & Implementation


Job Summary:

As a Program Manager in Program Planning & Implementation, you will play a key role in overseeing and guiding the successful execution of complex projects within our business. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery, timely issue resolution, and alignment with strategic objectives. Your expertise in project planning, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and quality assurance will be instrumental in enhancing project efficiency, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Program Planning & Implementation:

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, detailing scope, timelines, and journey workflows.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables, fostering a collaborative and result-driven environment.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, ensuring meetings capture actionable items, point of contact assignments, and timelines.

• Ensure partnerships and project milestones adhere to scheduled launch timelines.

• Engage regularly with external stakeholders to maintain strong, ongoing relationships.

• Conduct requirement gathering with lenders and originators, identifying new features or enhancements and submitting Jira tickets for necessary updates.

• Manage changes to project scope, ensuring clear documentation and communication.

• Host project kick-off meetings to align on common goals and expectations.


Stakeholder Communication:

• Leverage stakeholder insights to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment on product details, workflow approvals, and formal agreements.

• Facilitate bi-weekly meetings for yet-to-go-live partnerships and monthly feedback sessions with pilot customers.

• Drive cross-functional meetings with Legal & Compliance, Product, and Tech teams to ensure alignment on project roadmaps.

• Maintain clear and effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular project updates to leadership and key stakeholders.


Risk & Governance Management:

• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.

• Address and escalate issues impacting project delivery proactively.

• Collaborate with Legal teams to finalize agreements, managing the reconciliation and timely raising of invoices.

• Ensure SOPs, SOW, workflows, service fees, and roles are documented in agreements.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or PMP or Strategic Project Management certification is a plus.
  2. Project Management tools like Jira/Confluence etc.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in Banking or NBFC or financial sector
  4. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time
  5. Strong understanding of banking processes, regulations, and industry trends.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. This role demands a proactive, strategic mindset with strong organizational skills to balance multiple priorities while driving results across project lifecycles.
  8. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver projects on time, foster stakeholder engagement, and enhance project management practices through continuous improvement initiatives.
