Reports to Marketing Manager
Job Overview: As an Off-Page SEO Expert, your role will be pivotal in developing and executing strategies to increase the domain authority, backlinks, and overall search engine rankings of our clients' websites. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality relationships with external websites, generating effective backlinks, and ensuring the best off-page SEO practices are followed. Your efforts will support our broader SEO strategies, leading to improved organic search visibility and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive off-page SEO strategies, focusing on link-building, outreach, and partnerships.
- Identify and acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites to improve search engine rankings.
- Perform detailed competitor backlink analysis to uncover opportunities for link acquisition.
- Build and maintain relationships with bloggers, influencers, and webmasters for guest posting and link exchange opportunities.
- Conduct outreach campaigns to secure backlinks, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Monitor backlink profiles, identify toxic links, and perform regular disavowal to protect the website’s integrity.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and search engine guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with content creators to produce link-worthy content and promote it for maximum exposure.
- Collaborate with the on-page SEO, content, and digital marketing teams to align efforts and improve overall SEO performance.
- Use SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.) to track and report on the effectiveness of link-building campaigns and overall off-page SEO performance.
- Optimize and manage Google My Business profiles for local SEO efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Off-Page SEO Specialist or similar role, with a successful track record in building quality backlinks.
- Strong understanding of SEO, search engine algorithms, and the latest trends in off-page SEO.
- Hands-on experience with link-building techniques such as guest posting, broken link building, influencer outreach, and content marketing.
- Proficiency in SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, and similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and outreach skills, with the ability to establish relationships and negotiate collaborations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track, report, and optimize link-building campaigns based on data.
- Knowledge of local SEO strategies and Google My Business optimization is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and KPIs.
- Familiarity with ethical SEO practices and avoiding black-hat SEO techniques.
