Futureleap has been mandated by a unicorn B2B SaaS organisation to hire a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead their global marketing efforts, with a strong focus on product marketing, brand development, and international market expansion, particularly in the US. The CMO will be responsible for driving the company's growth through strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring our brand is positioned effectively in competitive markets, and managing cross-functional teams to deliver consistent and compelling messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies for both domestic and international markets, with a focus on increasing market share in the US.
  2. Brand Strategy & Development: Oversee the creation and implementation of a unified global brand strategy, ensuring strong brand presence and recognition across all channels and regions.
  3. International Marketing Expansion: Lead the company’s international marketing efforts, particularly in the US, to drive growth and brand visibility, while adapting strategies to meet local market needs.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product positioning, customer messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  5. Lead Generation & Growth Initiatives: Design and implement data-driven lead generation campaigns, especially for B2B SaaS products, to drive customer acquisition and retention in key markets.
  6. Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to understand global trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer needs, with a particular emphasis on the US.
  7. Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture that drives innovation and execution.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 15+ years of marketing leadership experience, with significant exposure to digital,product marketing, branding, and international marketing, especially in B2B SaaS and US markets.
  2. International Expertise: Proven track record in leading marketing initiatives in global markets, particularly the US, and adapting strategies for regional success.
  3. Skills: Strong expertise in product marketing, brand management, and digital marketing. Experience in developing lead generation campaigns and managing cross-functional teams.
  4. Education: MBA in marketing from Tier 1 college or advanced degree preferred.
  5. Leadership: Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, with a history of building and managing high-performing teams.
