Role Truesight Admin
Description
Product related incidents Support -L2 L3
Required Technical Skill Set Service Management
Year of Experience 6-12 years
Location of Requirement PAN INDIA
Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral competency)
Must Have :
- Strong experience with BMC TrueSight Operations Management installation, Upgrade, integration, Administration, configuration (Especially with version 10.x & later)
- Strong experience in installation of Patrol Agents on Windows, RHEL,AIX, Solaris OS
- Experience in working on knowledge modules like DB, WebSphere, Exchange, Sentry hardware, Sentry monitoring studio etc. along with basic KMs like OS,LOG,URL
- Good to have working knowledge of custom KMs
- Troubleshooting skills to resolve Patrol Agent, TrueSight server component issues
- Strong Experience in Event Management policy Administration, configuration
- Experience in Design & implementation of integration solutions with 3rd party tools for event & performance management
- Experience with TrueSight-Remedy ITSM integration, troubleshooting, enhancements
- Working knowledge of MRLs, custom classes
- 10.Hands-on experience in configuring & designing reports using TSOM Smart reporting, OOTB TrueSight reports
- Experience in Analyzing environment & event data to fine tune & reduce instance, event count
- Ability to review, analyze, fine tune & enhance TrueSight architecture & its components as per growing infrastructure & customer requirements
- Experience with Patrol Central, RT, Console server, PCM components
- Knowledge of Datacenter IT Infrastructure components, Unix, Windows OS, Virtualization
Good to Have :
- Infrastructure knowledge on Data Center towers
- Good communication skills set, Understand and clear communication to the business on impact of major incidents
- Excellent problem analysis skill set
Technical Skills
Certification on TrueSight
Minimum Qualification:
15 years of full-time education
