As our business expands, we're seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 2-3 years of experience to help us manage ongoing website projects, maintain client websites, and develop new functionalities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the backend of websites using PHP and Laravel, including database creation and management, server-side logic, and API integrations.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to implement new features and enhance website functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Understand and implement client requirements, ensuring their vision is brought to life through efficient, functional websites.
  • Perform regular website updates, upgrades, and security checks.
  • Manage databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs as required by clients.
  • Ensure websites are scalable, fast, and optimized for performance.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in backend development for websites, particularly with PHP and Laravel.
  • Strong understanding of API integrations (REST, SOAP) and working with third-party services.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others.
  • Solid understanding of website security practices, server management, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with frontend developers and project managers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to interact with clients and understand their requirements.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with CMS systems like WordPress.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing).
