Job Overview:


We are seeking a talented Food Technologist with a passion for business development to drive growth opportunities and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will combine their technical expertise in food science with strategic business insights to identify new business opportunities, develop innovative food products, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


New Business Development:


·       Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food industry.

·       Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence and increase sales.


Product Development:


·       Collaborate with R&D teams to develop innovative food products that meet market demands and consumer preferences.

·       Conduct product trials, sensory evaluations, and quality assessments to ensure product excellence.


Client Relationship Management:


·       Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

·       Present product offerings, technical capabilities, and value propositions to prospective clients.


Market Analysis:


·       Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.

·       Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and consumer preferences to inform business strategies.

·       Cross-functional Collaboration:

·       Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align business objectives and drive collective success.

·       Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards.


Qualifications:


·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.

·       Proven experience in food product development and business development within the food industry.

·       Strong knowledge of food processing technologies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

·       Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·       Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
