Job Overview:

The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining our company's IT network, servers, and security systems. This role is essential to ensure business continuity and the secure and efficient operation of all our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Maintenance: Oversee and maintain all aspects of our IT infrastructure. This includes network management, software and hardware installation, and a wide range of IT systems.


2. Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.


3. Troubleshooting: Serve as the first point of contact for IT support within the company. Resolve issues efficiently and escalate more complex problems as needed.


4. Updates and Upgrades: Regularly update systems and networks, including anti-virus software, password management, and other critical security tools.


5. Data Backup and Recovery: Ensure the integrity and safety of company data through regular backups and disaster recovery plans.


6. User Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on new technology and IT-related processes.


7. Project Management: Lead and collaborate on IT projects, ensuring they align with company goals and are delivered on time.


8. Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors for the procurement of new technology solutions.


9. Documentation: Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of the company’s IT systems and processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

- Proven experience as an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role.

- Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.

- Knowledge of system security techniques and data backup/recovery.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.

- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
