Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Hardware Engineering Lead. You will be responsible for leading the hardware team across electronics, mechanical & firmware domains.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of hardware components for our health-tracking and improvement devices.
  • Oversee the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, product, and design to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues in a timely manner.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 6-7+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading hardware development projects from concept to production.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanical design, and firmware development.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the health tech industry.
  • Knowledge of IoT and biosensors technology.
  • Work experience at a startup.
