Hardware Engineer

Job Summary:
As a Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm, you will play a crucial role in designing, optimizing, and testing electronic systems, circuits, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will be essential in bringing up yield, verifying, and testing digital, analog, RF, and optical systems, as well as equipment and packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and optimize electronic systems, circuits, and mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.
- Evaluate and characterize manufacturing solutions for leading-edge products.
- Develop and implement new test solutions to improve yield, test time, and quality.
- Evaluate complex design features to identify potential flaws and compatibility issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field, and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field, and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field, and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience with circuit design, schematic capture, and circuit simulation software.
- 2+ years of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments.
- 1+ year in a technical leadership role.
