About the Role

This position is within our Hardware Engineering group, where you will work with a small team to develop fully functional prototypes to demonstrate new advanced operation and control for autonomous grid connection, management, and regulation. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing new products and variants through the product lifecycle
  • Working in cross-functional teams of hardware, firmware, test automation, and mechanical engineers
  • Specifying, designing, verifying, and debugging complex circuits for our inverters
  • Conducting Design Verification Testing (DVT) for the products and sub-systems
  • Assisting product compliance engineers to achieve global certifications for our products
  • Specifying engineering requirements, creating test plans, and generating test reports
  • Raising the bar for technical excellence, accurate documentation, and scientific rigor
  • Designing support for cost reduction proposals, failure root-cause analysis, and alternative part qualification
  • Passionate in field quality improvement and cost reduction through VAVE

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A top 07 IIT only B. Tech or Dual degree (IDD) in Electrical and/or Electronics or related branch – CGPA 8 & Above
  • Preference is Dual (MTech) candidates
  • Specialization in Power Electronics, Power systems at Master's level will be an added advantage
  • Prior experience in Power Electronics Hardware domain will be highly preferable
  • In-depth knowledge and debugging skills in Power Electronics hardware designs and Power systems domain
  • Familiar with Power supply, converter, and inverter topologies
  • Good knowledge of circuit schematic, PCB layout, and simulation tools
  • The ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to grasp concepts and explain them as well
