Chef Sanjeev Kapoor is the brand ambassador and the face of the company. The organization is known for the innovation, quality and design of its products, aggressive marketing and Omni-Channel distribution strategy. The brand has expanded its product range into the Coffee Machine segment. With a diverse offering of 15 SKUs, ranging from classic French Press to Fully Automatic Coffee Machines, Wonderchef has made significant strides in disrupting the coffee market.
Position Overview:
Wonderchef is seeking a dynamic and driven HORECA Area Manager for the West Region, based out of Mumbai. This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, a strategic vision, and the ability to cultivate innovative insights into the Coffee segment within the Hotel-Restaurant-Café (HORECA) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exploring and establishing new collaboration opportunities, culminating in the potential development of a franchise model.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Strategic Development:
- Spearhead the development of the Coffee segment within the HORECA industry.
- Cultivate innovative insights and strategies for growth and market penetration.
2- Sales and Rental Models:
- Explore and implement outright selling and rental models tailored to the needs of Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) clients.
- Analyze market demands and adapt business models accordingly.
3- Placement and Partnerships:
- Develop and present proposals for placing coffee products in small restaurants, accompanied by promotional materials like tent cards.
- Target and establish partnerships with chain stores, showrooms, and boutiques, including high-end locations.
4- Stay Property Partnerships:
- Identify and negotiate placement or outright sales opportunities with stay property partners.
5- Hospitality Sector Collaboration:
- Forge partnerships with leading hotel chains to place Wonderchef coffee machines in suites and executive apartments.
6- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the HORECA sector.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
7- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute targeted marketing and promotional campaigns.
8- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in the HORECA sector - FMCG & FMCD industry experience is preferred.
- Experience in Coffee Machine or coffee bean selling will be a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of the Coffee or HORECA Market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
