Position Title: Sales Trader

Department/Team: Dealing - Institution

Location: Mumbai / Chennai


Key Responsibilities:

  • Empanelment of new Institutions & Corporates.
  • Actively prospect and engage in Client Activation and generate more revenue from clients.
  • Meeting Clients along with Research reports and Research team
  • Getting and executing the Block trades/Deals
  • Achieve revenue targets
  • Activating Corporate clients for Fixed income Products (Corporate Bonds) and Currency.
  • Acquisition efforts to grow the business.
  • Should be Well versed in front-end software to accept and confirm the orders (Bloomberg, Algos)


Qualification:

  • Education/Certifications: Graduate/ Postgraduate
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in NISM/NCFM


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience as Sales trader or a similar role in stock broking firm, mutual fund or AMC.
  • Skilled in acquiring and retaining institutional and corporate clients, driving revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, enabling effective trade execution and insightful client advice.
  • Experience working with research teams to provide comprehensive client recommendations.
  • Proficient in accurately executing block trades and deals to meet client needs and revenue.
  • Expertise in using trading platforms like Bloomberg, Algos for efficient order management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to be able to hold conversation with senior level stakeholders.
