We have an urgent opening for AGM- Sales Training role with a top pharmaceutical company based at Mumbai. Details are as mentioned below:


Designation : AGM- Sales Training

Experience : 10-12 years in Sales Training (Should be currently working as Sr. Manager)

Location : Mumbai

Package : Up to 25 LPA


Role overview: The incumbent will work closely with sales, L&D leaders, HR, and senior management to ensure that the sales team are well-trained, aligned with business goals, and motivated to achieve sales targets. This position requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, sales methodologies, and training best practices.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Training Strategy & Development:

Lead the design and implementation of sales training programs tailored to organizational goals & objectives. Enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement through targeted training. Identify training needs via assessments, reviews, and feedback.

  • Sales Training Implementation:

Deliver engaging training sessions (classroom, workshops, webinars, on-the-job) to ensure the sales team is up-to-date on products, regulations, market trends, and competition. Foster a culture of continuous learning with innovative methods like e-learning, blended learning, and mentoring.

  • Performance Monitoring & Evaluation:

Set clear training KPIs and assess the effectiveness of programs using metrics and feedback. Track performance improvements and recommend follow-up actions as needed.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with sales leadership, marketing, and other departments to align training with company objectives. Serve as the point of contact between the training department and field sales teams.

  • Mentorship & Coaching:

Provide ongoing coaching to reinforce training concepts and support the real-world application of skills. Identify high-potential sales employees and guide their career development through advanced training.

  • Sales Enablement:

Making sure that the sales team has the tools, resources, and content to succeed. Regularly update training materials to reflect the latest product knowledge and sales strategies.

  • Reporting & Feedback:

Present regular reports to senior management on training effectiveness and areas for improvement. Gather feedback from sales teams to continually refine training programs.
