inai is building the future of payments.
inai is Segment for payments. We make the lives of digital/online merchants easier by enabling them to manage their payments stack in a low-touch / no-code fashion. Merchants can now future-proof their payment stack and break out of the consistent trade-off between a great checkout experience and the flexibility required to maintain the same.
inai was founded by serial entrepreneurs who have decades of experience in finance and tech. inai has been backed by marquee investors including Kunal Shah, Razorpay, the first investors in Square/Twitter, and other stellar investor.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Development representative for our business in India. This will start as an IC role with the opportunity to move into a leadership position for the BDR team and build your career at the intersection of SaaS and fintech.
You will
1. Identify potential customers for inai after understanding our value proposition in detail.
2. Leverage multiple data sources like Apollo, LinkedIn, Crunchbase, etc to identify and enrich leads.
3. Utilise your network, LinkedIn, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
4. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Account Executives (AEs).
5. Work with a team of junior SDRs and Report to the sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
6. Be extremely diligent in terms of your outreach, and lead qualification before handing over to AEs.
What are we looking for?
1. 2-5 years’ experience as BDR or in lead generation.
2. Familiarity with lead gen tools would be a bonus.
3. Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Drive- we are growing fast and would prefer someone who wants to take their career to the next level with us.
6. Ability to understand and communicate the value proposition of a technical product.
7. Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
