Position: Application Support Engineer


Experience: 5+ Years


Location: Delhi/Uttar Pradesh


Key Responsibilities:


1. Technical Support:

  • Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams on applications related to structural dynamics and multibody dynamics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and develop CAD models for mechanical components and systems.
  • Conduct Multi body Dynamics simulations to evaluate the performance and behaviour of mechanical designs under different operating conditions.
  • Perform motion analysis and dynamic simulations to assess the kinematics and dynamics of mechanical systems, including mechanisms, linkages, and assemblies.
  • Validate simulation results through physical testing and analysis and iterate design improvements as necessary.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate simulation findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on emerging CAD/CAE technologies and methodologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance simulation capabilities and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in CAD/CAE modelling and simulation.


2. Project Engineering:

  • Manage onsite engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Prepare detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.


3.Design and Simulation:

  • Perform detailed structural and multibody dynamics simulations using industry-standard software tools.
  • Develop and validate simulation models to predict system behaviour and performance.
  • Optimize design parameters to meet performance, cost, and safety requirements.


4. Customer Interaction:

  • Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide customized solutions.
  • Conduct onsite visits to client locations for project assessments, installations, and support.
  • Provide training and mentoring to client teams on the use of simulation tools and methodologies.


5. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including simulation reports, design specifications, and user manuals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support interactions and project activities.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural dynamics, multibody dynamics, design engineering, or simulation analysis.
  • Proficiency in simulation software such as SIMCENTER 3D, ANSYS, Abaqus, ADAMS, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work onsite at client locations as required.
  • Experience with project management and customer interaction is a plus.


Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar for simulation automation.
  • Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or heavy machinery, Defence preferable.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and industry best practices.
