As the Senior Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the organizations manufacturing processes. Your role will involve managing production, quality control, supply chain, and operational efficiency to ensure the smooth running of the textile manufacturing plant. You will lead a team of supervisors and managers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and meet business objectives.



Responsibilities

* Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, production schedules, and capacity planning.

* Monitor and analyze production output and efficiency to achieve production targets while maintaining product quality.

* Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.

* Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage the procurement of raw materials, machinery, and equipment required for production.

* Work with suppliers to negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery, and maintain good relationships.

* Optimize inventory levels to balance production requirements with carrying costs.

* Develop and manage the operational budget, analyzing variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

* Monitor production costs and identify areas for cost reduction without compromising product quality and safety.

* Provide leadership and guidance to the operational team.

* Promote teamwork and collaboration across different departments within the organization.

* Lead continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging innovation and implementing new technologies or processes to enhance operational efficiency.

* Oversee the quality control processes to ensure that products meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations.

* Address any quality issues or deviations from standards and take corrective actions as needed



Qualifications

* Must have a degree of Bachelors of technology or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

* Should have 7+ years of experience in operations, with a track record of managing and optimizing production processes.

* Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

* Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

* Proficiency in using software and ERP systems.
