Job Purpose

The Investor and Client Relations Head, will lead the strategic development and execution of sales, marketing, and client relationship strategies for the Public Alternatives Business at Edelweiss. This role is central to driving business growth and enhancing brand equity by forging robust relationships with key investors and clients, and by ensuring the alignment of business strategies with market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for engaging with existing investors and attracting new fund commitments. Lead fundraising rounds, prepare presentations and detailed financial reports, and maintain a dynamic communication channel with the investment community.

Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and high-net-worth clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and retention through excellent service and regular updates on fund performance and strategic direction.

Oversee the creation and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes digital marketing, PR, and event management, aimed at enhancing the visibility and reputation of Edelweiss’ Public Alternatives Business.

Lead a team of sales, marketing, and client service professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure the business remains competitive.

Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

A Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 15 years of experience in Sales in Private Equity, Public Equity and AIF space

Proven track record of successful investor engagement and capital raising.

Sales Strategy Development: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the overall business objectives, considering market trends and competitive analysis.

Deal Origination: Proficiency in identifying and sourcing potential investment opportunities through various channels such as networking, industry events, and proprietary research
