Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js, Kafka, and MongoDB.

The ideal candidate will not only be proficient in these technologies but also have a strong background in people management.

This position requires a proactive and collaborative individual who can lead a team of developers, drive technical excellence, and contribute to the overall success of our projects.


Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality

software solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and make key architectural decisions.

• Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment


Technology Stack:

• Demonstrate expertise in Node.js, Kafka, and MongoDB.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.

• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the team's effectiveness.


Project Management:

• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.


People Management:

• Build and lead a high-performing development team.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.


Communication:

• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js, Kafka, and MongoDB.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and server-side JavaScript programming.

• Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js or similar.

• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL and proficiency in writing

efficient queries

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.

• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.

• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest) and writing unit and integration tests.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is

desirable.

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

• Proven experience in people management, including team leadership, mentoring, and performance evaluation.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, design principles, and coding

standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Take full ownership of assigned tasks, projects, or initiatives from inception to completion.

• Demonstrate a proactive attitude in identifying and addressing challenges, ensuring smooth

progress throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to

established deadlines.

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and solicit feedback as necessary.
