About the company

The company has been founded by a second-time entrepreneur & raised capital from marquee VC funds. It aims to revolutionize the fertility space by a customer centric and tech enabled approach. The company will have its own set of fertility clinics and will offer services linked to egg freezing & IVF. Our vision is to use technology & create gold-standard IVF experience with in-house doctors, best success-rates, protocols, customer app etc.


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in guiding the technical direction of our company, leading the development team, and ensuring the successful delivery of our clinic operations & customer mobile application. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create a seamless and exceptional user experience. Your innovative solutions and technical acumen will be integral to our mission of revolutionizing the fertility industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Lead the development and maintenance of the IVF Centre's mobile app and digital platforms, ensuring they are robust, secure, and user-friendly.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of software developers, providing guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, set milestones, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure the app meets clinical and user needs.
  • Architecture & Design: Develop and maintain the overall architecture of the app, including front-end and back-end components, APIs, and databases.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of the app, including unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests.
  • Security: Ensure that all digital solutions comply with healthcare regulations and data protection standards (e.g., ART).
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technological trends in healthcare and fertility treatment and integrate innovative solutions to enhance the patient experience. Drive technical innovation and excellence by researching emerging technologies, evaluating their feasibility, and proposing strategic initiatives to enhance product capabilities and performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the codebase, technical processes, and project specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as Full-stack developer / Senior Software Developer
  • Proven experience as a software developer in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and related technologies.
  • Experience with mobile app development (Flutter / React).
  • Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and system integration techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve common goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to changing requirements and environments.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for technology and innovation.
  • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Experience working in healthcare or with healthcare applications is a plus.
