Microsoft Sales Specialist

Big Picture are looking for a Microsoft Technical Sales Specialist to join our existing Global team. Big Picture have been providing sales and technical support services to Dell Sales Teams and Partners for over 20 years. This role will drive Dell/ Microsoft Solutions with a particular focus on technical solutions and support.
Responsibilities:
Increase revenue of Microsoft products in the region
- Support Presales Teams’ product and technical queries
- Detect opportunities through pipeline discussions and quote reporting
- Detect and support strategic deals with technical and licensing knowledge, including customer interaction alongside Dell sales
- Drive up-sell and attach opportunities supporting deals and customer engagement
- Engage sales leadership to drive increased revenue through attach
Improve Dell internal sales teams’ product knowledge to leverage opportunities
- Provide ongoing sales enablement through sales coaching around product features and value propositions
- Support product launch and refresh cycles
- Champion Sales Teams’ accreditation through Dell Microsoft Academy
Drive knowledge and visibility of Dell Microsoft Solutions
- Provide training to Dell Channel Partners around Dell Microsoft solutions
- Support Dell Channel Partners on closing opportunities with Dell Sales Teams
- Promote ‘Better Together’ value proposition of Dell and Microsoft
Bring Microsoft products to front of mind
- Support Dell programs to amplify Dell Microsoft proposition
- Create and share POCs, Win-wires and customer scenarios
- Risk Mitigation – support incorrectly sold/ lost licensing, and activation issues
Qualifications & Experience
- 4 + years’ experience in a sales driven role with emphasis on technical solutions in IT/ Hardware/ Software
- IT or software training experience
- Sales Pipeline Management Expertise
- Track record of Sales Achievements
- Customer Care Service and/or Technical support role
- BA Degree qualification or equivalent experience
- Microsoft or VMware sales specialist certifications preferred (not mandatory)
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Core Products and Services
- Fluent in verbal and written business English
- Strong relationship and inter-personal skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Team Player & motivator
- Excellent presentation skills
The annual salary for this role will be Circa $24k
