Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Merchandiser – Sportswear/ Activewear To lead product development and manage end-to-end merchandising operations in knitted garments. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of activewear/sportswear, technical fabrics, and production cycles. You will collaborate closely with design, sourcing, production, and buying teams to deliver high-performance products that align with market trends and brand vision.Requirements:           •         Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Merchandising, or related field.           •         5–8 years of experience in apparel merchandising, with minimum 2–3 years in sportswear/activewear.           •         Strong understanding of functional fabrics, fit, and performance wear construction.           •         Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.           •         Proficient in Excel, PLM systems, and production tracking tools.           •         Ability to handle multiple seasons and tight deadlines with a proactive approach.Preferred Skills:           •         Experience working with international brands/domestic buyers.           •         Knowledge of sustainable and performance fabric trends.           •         Familiarity with global compliance standards for sportswear.Role & responsibilities : ·        Client & Buyer Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for sportswear buyers. Understand buyer requirements, provide samples, and follow up on approvals.·        Product Development: Coordinate with design and sampling teams to develop new collections and ensure sportswear designs meet buyer specifications.·        Order Management: Handle end-to-end order processing from sampling, costing, order confirmation, and bulk production to shipment.·        Costing & Negotiation: Prepare detailed cost sheets, negotiate prices with suppliers and buyers, and ensure profitability targets are met.·        Production Coordination: Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery while maintaining product quality.·        Vendor & Supplier Management: Source and manage fabric, trims, and accessories suppliers. Also to oversee vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with brand standards and ethical sourcing practices.·        Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure products meet required standards and compliance regulations and all performance testing and quality protocol.  ·        Trend & Market Analysis: Stay updated with global sportswear trends, innovations in fabric and fit, and market dynamics.·        Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, sampling records , production reports, and updates for each account, ensuring all stages of merchandising are tracked.·        Production Timelines : Track production timelines to ensure on-time delivery of orders; proactively resolve any delays or quality concerns.Work Location:Mayapuri Industrial Area, New DelhiFor apply , Send your CV at aarkkrishavapparels@outlook.com, ashish.verma@aarkkrishavapparels.com
