Cars24 is seeking an IT-Governance, Risk, and Compliance (IT-GRC) professional to ensure IT policies and procedures comply with data privacy, cybersecurity, and industry regulations. The role involves identifying and managing IT risks, developing mitigation strategies, and supporting IT controls such as access and change management.

What will you drive?


  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure IT policies and procedures comply with regulatory standards, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and monitor IT risks, developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Controls Assessment: Support the development and testing of IT controls (e.g., access management, change management, incident response) to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Audit Coordination: Assist with internal and external audits, prepare documentation, and track remediation efforts for identified issues.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to align IT-GRC objectives and maintain open communication on compliance requirements.
  • Incident Management: Support the team in handling security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in IT-GRC practices, aligning with best practices and industry standards.
  • Adaptability: Effectively manage changes and shifting priorities.


Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; certifications like CISA, CISM, or CRISC are a plus.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT governance, risk, and compliance, or a related IT audit role.
  • Strong understanding of IT controls, data privacy regulations, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
