Job Summary

Creative directors guide the direction of creative projects by developing a big-picture vision and brand guidelines. They oversee every stage of the creative process, approving artwork, strategy and other project elements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Event Design: Develop a comprehensive event design strategy that aligns with client objectives, audience demographics, and industry trends, ensuring memorable and impactful experiences.

2. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of event designers, fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration. Provide guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.

3. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their vision, goals, and event objectives. Translate client requirements into compelling event design concepts that resonate with the target audience.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, production, and technical teams to seamlessly integrate design concepts into the overall event production process.

5. User-Centered Approach: Apply user-centered design principles to create events that engage, educate, and delight attendees. Leverage audience insights to enhance event experiences.

6. Storyboarding and Prototyping: Create detailed storyboards and interactive prototypes to visualize event experiences, facilitating clear communication with clients and internal teams.

7.Budget and Resource Management: Ensure that event designs are executed within budget constraints, optimizing resources to achieve the desired creative outcomes.

8. Trend Analysis: Stay updated on event industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations, integrating them into your design approach.

9. Quality Control: Oversee the execution of event designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of creativity, functionality, and audience engagement.

Profile requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Event Management, or a related field.

2. 15+ years of experience in event design, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.

3. Proven portfolio showcasing successful event design projects and innovative solutions.

4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team.

5.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.

6.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client and team interaction.

7.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience in designing events for [specific type of events, e.g., conferences, exhibitions, product launches].

2. Familiarity with event production processes and technical requirements.

3. Understanding of audiovisual technologies and their impact on event design.
