### **Job Description:**

As the HR Manager, you will take ownership of all human resource functions at Union Coliving. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and HR systems while ensuring alignment with our startup culture and business goals. You will work directly with the leadership team to design and implement HR strategies that support our growing organization.


### **Key Responsibilities:**


#### **Talent Acquisition and Recruitment**

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all departments, ensuring a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates.

- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including employer branding initiatives.

- Use hiring software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and innovative sourcing techniques to streamline recruitment processes.

- Conduct thorough background verifications and reference checks.


#### **HR Operations**

- Oversee payroll management, ensuring timely and accurate salary processing using payroll software.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (e.g., PF, ESI, gratuity).

- Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals.

- Administer employee benefits and resolve queries related to compensation and benefits.


#### **Employee Engagement and Relations**

- Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture that aligns with Union Coliving’s values.

- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.

- Organize team-building activities, fun events, and employee wellness programs to enhance retention.


#### **HR Strategy and Leadership**

- Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, aligning HR goals with business objectives.

- Analyze workforce trends, provide data-driven insights, and propose improvements.

- Lead HR projects, including performance management, training and development, and succession planning.

- Be the second in command for all HR functions, with an opportunity to grow into a leadership role.


#### **HR Technology and Tools**

- Leverage HR software and tools for efficiency (e.g., ATS, payroll software, employee engagement platforms).

- Evaluate and implement new HR technologies to support growth and scalability.


#### **Additional Responsibilities**

- Manage and update the company’s LinkedIn presence to enhance employer branding and engagement.

- Plan and execute fun activities and events to strengthen team spirit and engagement.

- Regular reporting and coordination with the leadership team in Mumbai.

### **Qualifications and Skills:**


#### **Must-Have:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).

- 3-5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in startups or fast-paced environments.

- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, including experience with ATS and recruitment tools.

- Solid knowledge of payroll management and HR compliance.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Passion for startups and willingness to hustle.

- Experience with background verification processes and advanced HR tools.

- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.

- Demonstrated success in driving employee engagement and building a strong organizational culture.
