Overview: Adapt's Head of Global Compliance will spearhead our efforts to ensure that clients' localized assets are compliant with territorial and government standards. This role will leverage local compliance expertise along with the latest and most innovative technology to deliver superior results—faster and at lower costs. We are seeking a pragmatic innovator: someone who embraces change, understands the limitations of technology but finds creative solutions to overcome them. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in localization and compliance for premium content, including knowledge of compliance standards, templates, and examples of pre- and post-compliance content. Video editing skills are also highly desirable to make necessary content adjustments. While the position is listed in India, we welcome applicants from any region of the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Adapt's development and technology teams to define innovative compliance workflows using AI tools.
  • Provide artifacts for the process, including compliance standards, templates, and examples of pre- and post-compliance content.
  • Act as a working supervisor for our compliance team, actively ensuring content compliance, identifying compliance issues, and making necessary edits.
  • Recruit, train, and expand a team of compliance leads globally.
  • Define detailed requirements for compliance processes.
  • Participate in weekly Adapt meetings and collaborate effectively with the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of translation and global media compliance.
  • Video editing experience.
  • Proven track record of adopting and implementing new technologies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, and Lucidchart (or similar tools).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AI tools such as Whisper, Elevenlabs, Resemble, LibDub, and Google Translate.
  • Comprehensive editing experience with a home editing suite.
