Job Overview: This role is focused on ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of Solar PV and Wind Power Plants. The individual in this role will be responsible for monitoring site-specific systems, conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating relay settings, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. Additionally, during the project phase, this role includes providing coordination support for testing and commissioning activities


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Weekly Tech Services: Lead meetings at the site level, discuss technical issues, and ensure immediate concerns are addressed.
  • PPM Monitoring: Ensure Preventive Maintenance Monitoring (PPM) is carried out effectively at the site, prepare reports, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Plant Performance Monitoring: Monitor site-specific metrics (MTTD, MTTF, MTTR, etc.), analyse performance, and implement corrective measures.
  • Fault RCA Reports: Lead the root cause analysis process at the site, ensuring detailed investigation and implementation of corrective measures.
  • Relay Settings Coordination: Ensure relay settings are coordinated and properly configured for the site.
  • Troubleshooting: Lead troubleshooting efforts at the site level, working with teams to quickly resolve technical issues.
  • Failure Records Maintenance:Analyze failure records at the site, ensure data accuracy, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Technical Audits: Conduct or facilitate third-party technical audits at the site and ensure compliance with findings.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with operational procedures and standards.
  • Spare Material Preparation: Review technical specs for spare materials.
  • Factory Visits: Conduct inspections as necessary.
  • Remote Monitoring Coordination: Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Experience Required: 6-8 Years B.E EEE with Extensive experience in maintaining, testing, and commissioning electrical equipment ranging from 415 volts to 65 KV systems. This includes conducting inspections of control and relay panels, generating test reports, and creating cable schedules for substations, renewable energy wind & solar power plants.
  • Protection Knowledge: Expertise in various protection systems including Line Protection, Transformer Protection, Transformer Differential
  • Protection, REF Protection, Bus Bar Protection, and synchronizing schemes, DR Extraction & Evaluation.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving issues in electrical circuits, control systems, and protection circuits.
