Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager with 5 years of experience in accounting and finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our accounting operations and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will play a key role in monitoring and analyzing accounting data, producing financial reports, and completing annual audits. You must have advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office, accounting software (such as Zoho Books), and databases.
Key Responsibilities:
*Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate and timely financial reports or statements.
*Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles in accordance with best practices and regulations.
*Coordinate and complete annual audits, working closely with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
*Meet financial accounting objectives by managing the accounts and other financial activities efficiently.
*Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions and maintain organized and accessible records.
*Manage all statutory compliance including ESI, PF, TDS, GST, and Income Tax to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
*Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to banking and financial institutions.
*Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, laws, and regulations to provide accurate and reliable financial information.
*Provide support and guidance to the accounting team and other departments as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
*5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role.
*Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software (such as Zoho Books), and databases.
*Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
