Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager position will be part of the corporate accounting team reporting to a Senior Manager of Accounting on the US team. The Accounting Manager will also work closely with the financial planning & analysis and tax teams and will participate in aspects of the company’s internal/external audit, tax compliance and financial reporting efforts. This position requires an individual with a forward-thinking mindset that enjoys simplifying complex issues and processes. Individual should have exceptional accounting expertise, and a proven ability to establish effective partnerships with cross-functional teams towards the development of best-in-class finance processes.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the quality of service of accounting consulting firm and implement measures for improvement in quality of service Serve as the accounting expert at the local level Ensure compliance with local and IAS accounting standards Act as liaison with local tax and statutory auditors Assist statutory auditors for preparation of financial statements and statutory reports Responsible for preparation and review of monthly reconciliations for India entity Prepare written explanations for fluctuation analysis within balance sheet and P&L reviews Maintain internal controls over financial accounting and reporting processes in compliance with SOX. Assist in the identification of risks and implementation of new controls Develop accounting policies and procedures with appropriate level of documentation Assist in various special other special projects that ariseEducation, Experience, & Skills Required:
Accounting degree Public accounting experience and/or equivalent experience in industry Ethical individual that acts with high levels of integrity Excellent communication skills, including strong ability to understand your audience and adapt communication to this audience Strong knowledge of IAS and India GAAP accounting standards Strong knowledge of risks and controls Strong excel skills Strong ability to analyze an issue and articulate the issue both verbally and in writingBehaviors & Abilities Required:
