Job Overview:

As a Social Media Strategist at Yocket, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing content strategies across our social media platforms. The role is ideal for a passionate creator with a keen interest in storytelling, staying on top of social media trends, and connecting with audiences authentically. You will play a pivotal role in driving engagement, growing our community, and maintaining a consistent and engaging brand voice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop original, engaging, and visually appealing content (graphics, videos, posts) that aligns with Yocket’s brand, voice, and goals.
  • Platform Management: Oversee daily activities across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, ensuring timely and consistent posting, commenting, and sharing.
  • Audience Engagement: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction by initiating meaningful conversations.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance using relevant metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social), and prepare regular reports to assess performance and refine strategies.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and industry developments to keep Yocket’s content fresh, relevant, and engaging.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the marketing and design teams to ensure social media content is aligned with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Campaign Support: Assist with planning and executing both organic and paid social media campaigns, including scripting and content development.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand or in a related role.
  • Skills:Strong communication and writing skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and platform insights.
  • Creative thinking with an eye for detail and consistency.
  • Must be a creator—active on social media platforms, with a personal interest in creating engaging content and building a following.

Preferred:

  • Experience with short-form video creation (e.g., Reels, YouTube Shorts).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing is a plus.
