The AI Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing end-to-end automation workflows that enhance MSP operations. This role requires advanced scripting, integration skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while leading automation deployment projects.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree.3+ years of experience in IT Support, DevOps, or Automation Engineering (MSP experience preferred).Proficiency in Python and PowerShell.Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON data handling.Experience with automation tools such as n8n, Power Automate, or Tines.Working knowledge of RMM/PSA systems like ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, or N-able.Familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as prompt engineering and vector databases.Responsibilities: Design and build advanced automation workflows integrating PSA, RMM, and AI platforms.Create and maintain scripts using Python and PowerShell to streamline recurring MSP processes.Develop integrations using REST APIs (ConnectWise, Datto, N-able, etc.).Architect AI-enabled workflows leveraging LLMs, RAG, and data enrichment.Mentor and support L1 engineers in workflow design and execution.Manage deployment and optimization of automation solutions with measurable business outcomes.Ensure compliance, data governance, and documentation across all automation projects.
