ServiceNow PPM Developer

Experience: Minimum 5+ Yrs in PPM Development

Work Location: Remote

● Configure/Code Service Now PPM modules – Idea, Demand, Project, Tasks,

Resource Plans, Time cards, Financials, Cost plans, benefit plans, etc. based on

business requirements to facilitate rollout of new functionality, interfaces, modules and

other items such as UI and Workflow configuration

● Collaborate effectively with other Service Now administrators/developers to develop

solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests

● Hands-on experience in Service Now scripting like Client Scripts, UI Policy, Business

Rules, Script Include, Script Action, UI Actions, Workflow and various activities,

Catalog Item, UI Script, ACL’s, inbound email action, Service Portals.

● Ensure the latest release of Service Now application is implemented in a timely

manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations

● Experience in Integration (SOAP Web Services, Scripted Web Services, Direct Web

Services)with 3rd party tool is desired

● Developer experience in Service Now tool (JavaScript knowledge required).

● Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to communicate well with all areas of

the business.

● A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL or CMDB, Service Catalog

● Experience in Web technologies (Web Services, XML, Ajax, HTML, CSS).

● Experience working with CMDB (configuration management database)

● Knows how to translate business problems into software & technical requirements

● Core Service Now ITSM tool Knowledge (Administrator/Development) (Min 3 yrs. core

experience in the tool)

● Solid Experience with Linux and fundamental internet services (DNS, mail,

Apache/Tomcat)

● Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, http, etc.)

● Exposure in component integration (SSO, LDAP etc.)

● Experience in Application UI, Work flow Configuration

● Working knowledge of Perl/Python/JavaScript is desired


1. SAP ARIBA


• Implementation experience on Ariba on Demand solutions

• 7+ years Experience in development and implementation or support of Ariba Downstream

modulesusing AML, Ariba API, Java and AQL.

• 2+ years’ experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server as backend is preferred.

• Experience with integration of Ariba and ERP (like SAP) using middleware technologies

(like PI) ispreferred.

• Knowledge or experience on SAP is a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills, as well as

communication andinterpersonal skills, is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex

businessconcepts in non-technical terms.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of Eclipse and open-source IDE is a plus.

• Experience in working with On Demand/On Cloud Ariba solution is a plus • Experience in

workingwith SAP Field glass solution is a plus

• Experience in web services is a plus.

• Experience in Agile development environment is a plus

• If possible, help with EC work related tasks

Additional Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and expert knowledge of BIB technology in building best intetraions

between EC, ECC & S4 systems while adhering to best practices and quality standards.

• Collaborate with Architectsfrom EC , ECC & S4 team to design & develop the BIB

integration as per the required needs.

• Create and maintain design specifications, architectural diagrams, and process

diagrams supporting and communicating changes to SuccessFactors platform

applications.

• Creating project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with

architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices.

• Providing support / guidance to the development teams during the analysis,

development, and testing processes.

• Provide inputs to create Agile user stories based on business requirements

• Participate in E2E functionality assessment during Validation Testing phases (SIT,

UAT)

• Experience with technical programming; capable of managing and overseeing global

teams designing, programming, and implementing various technical solutions

• Work with Vendor Applications teams to deploy and maintain applications
