Job Overview:

As a Senior IT Recruiter specializing in the Canadian market, you will lead our IT recruitment efforts by developing strategic initiatives to source, attract, and secure highly skilled IT professionals. Your leadership will guide a team of recruiters, and your deep understanding of the Canadian IT landscape will drive successful talent acquisition strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to the Canadian IT market, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and client needs.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT recruiters, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their effectiveness and career development.
  • Candidate Sourcing and Engagement: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including networking, industry events, social media, and targeted job boards, to identify and attract top IT talent.
  • Client Relations: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific hiring requirements, provide expert market insights, and deliver high-quality candidates that align with their organizational culture and technical needs.
  • Recruitment Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and client satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and salary benchmarks within the Canadian IT sector to offer informed advice to clients and candidates.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality, to drive data-driven decisions and optimize recruitment strategies.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT recruitment, with a strong focus on the Canadian market. At least 2 years of leadership experience managing a recruitment team.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Canadian IT industry, including key technologies, market trends, and employment regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of recruiters, with experience in developing and executing effective recruitment strategies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using recruitment tools and software, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM systems, and sourcing platforms.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CIR, AIRS) are a plus.
