Job Summary:
Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Specialist to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in staffing and significant experience handling a variety of visa types, including H1B, Green Card (GC), L1, OPT EAD, and more. The Immigration Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the visa and immigration process for our employees and clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Visa Processing and Management:
- Handle end-to-end visa processes for various types of visas such as H1B, GC, L1, OPT EAD, and others.
- Prepare, review, and submit visa applications and petitions.
- Ensure timely submission of all documentation and track application statuses.
Compliance and Regulation:
- Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and regulations.
- Ensure all immigration activities comply with legal standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all immigration cases.
Employee and Client Support:
- Provide guidance and support to employees and clients regarding visa and immigration matters.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to immigration processes.
- Conduct informational sessions or training related to immigration policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the HR and recruitment teams to identify and address immigration needs.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and immigration consultants as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with government agencies and immigration offices.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate reports on visa and immigration metrics for management review.
- Maintain and update immigration records and databases.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive immigration information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in immigration and visa processing, preferably within a staffing or recruitment environment.
- In-depth knowledge of various visa categories including H1B, GC, L1, OPT EAD, and associated regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using immigration management software and MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a staffing company or similar environment.
- Familiarity with U.S. immigration laws and processes.
- Certification in immigration law or related field is a plus.
