About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Gearbox to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales and trading of motors and customized gearbox solutions. This role involves managing customer relationships, developing sales strategies, and ensuring business growth and profitability. The candidate should have a strong background in sales, market analysis, and team leadership within the electrical and mechanical equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Oversee sales and trading of motors and customized gearbox solutions.
- Drive business growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Customer Solutions:
- Lead the team in providing tailored solutions based on customer requirements.
- Advise clients on gearbox selections, customizations, and product integrations.
Enquiry Management:
- Ensure timely responses to inquiries and provide accurate quotations and pricing.
Lead Generation & Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research, surveys, and cold calling to generate inquiries.
- Analyze customer needs and industry trends for business development.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement strategies to boost sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and customer acquisition.
Team Coordination:
- Manage and mentor the sales team, setting clear objectives and ensuring performance alignment with company goals.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and analyze sales data, generate performance reports, and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B. Tech / B.E) or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the gearbox, motors, or related mechanical industry.
- Strong experience in market mapping, lead generation, and business development.
- Proven ability to manage a sales team and achieve business growth targets.
Skills:
- Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Knowledge of market trends, industry standards, and competitive landscape in gearbox solutions.
