Job description

  • Responsible for the in-market sales achievement, through driving the growth in Pan India E-commerce E.G (Amazon, Flipkart, Mesho, Big basket, Zomato etc) & Quick Commerce chains (Blinkit, Swiggy instamart, Dunzo, Zepto etc) .
  • Identify the gap in South & West India and propose ways to improve Food Service, Retail channel (modern trade and general trade), ECOM, & Industrial.
  • To track, monitor and analyze product, channel, and customer sales trends in order to maximize sales opportunities and achieve desired sales results.
  • Working with distributor sales team to ensure execution excellence in 4 key aspects i.e distribution expansion, product merchandising, on-shelf availability, and promotion activities implementation in the retail channel.
  • Provide market intelligence regarding to market trend and competitor activities in the respective region and provide recommendations for follow-up action whenever required.
  • Design schemes / promotions relevant to Food service, Retail & Ecom customers as per market trend.
  • Liaison with marketing team to drive Sales & Marketing campaigns in designated channels.
  • 70% ECOM, 15% FS and 15% retail, Responsible to IMS drive South region and ECOM National/Regional account, based out Bangalore location.

Job specification

  • Bachelor’s Degree/MBA holder in Business, Marketing or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales and marketing, preferably from leading MNC food companies with experience in handling E-Commerce customers.
  • Experience in Retail trade channel (Modern trade) is desired (working experience in other Trade Channels will also be considered) and experience in working through Distributors is preferred for this position.
  • Displays potential for taking initiative and with inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Displays basic analytical and Problem Solving skills.
  • Fluent in English & Hindi.
  • Independent, Self-motivated and determined to succeed in a challenging environment.
  • Willing to travel out-station and overseas where required.
  • Computer skills: PowerPoint, Words and Excel.
  • Based out Bangalore location.
