Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Growth with 15+ years of experience in scaling customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth within the on-demand delivery or quick commerce sectors. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leadership in high-growth environments such as Swiggy, Zepto, Blinkit, or similar businesses.
This role is critical in driving our ambitious growth agenda and shaping the future of our company in the grocery delivery space.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute long-term growth strategies aligned with business goals.
- Leverage 15+ years of industry expertise to build sustainable and scalable growth models.
Customer Acquisition:
- Drive large-scale acquisition strategies across paid and organic channels, ensuring a balance between volume and cost-efficiency.
- Lead innovative campaigns tailored for the hyperlocal grocery delivery market.
Customer Retention & Engagement:
- Design and implement advanced retention strategies such as loyalty programs, gamification, and subscription models.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through personalized experiences and targeted communication.
Data-Driven Optimization:
- Oversee in-depth analysis of key metrics (CAC, CLV, retention rates) to inform strategic decisions.
- Utilize experience in scaling delivery ecosystems to optimize the customer journey and improve conversions.
Partnership Development:
- Establish high-impact partnerships with brands, FMCG companies, and logistics providers.
- Explore co-branding and marketing collaborations to expand reach.
Team Building & Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of growth marketers, analysts, and product experts.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.
Market Expertise:
- Apply deep knowledge of hyperlocal logistics, quick commerce models, and industry best practices.
- Keep a close watch on competitors like Swiggy, Zepto, and Blinkit, driving strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Budget Oversight:
- Own and manage multi-million-dollar growth budgets with a focus on ROI and efficiency.
- Drive profitability while achieving aggressive growth targets.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in growth, marketing, or related roles.
- Significant tenure at hyperlocal delivery, quick commerce, or e-commerce companies such as Swiggy, Zepto, Blinkit, or similar.
Leadership:
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational growth at scale.
Industry Expertise:
- Deep understanding of the grocery delivery, FMCG, or on-demand services ecosystem.
- Strong grasp of logistics, supply chain, and customer behavior in quick commerce.
Analytical Skills:
- Expertise in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Mixpanel) and a data-first approach to decision-making.
Digital Marketing Proficiency:
- Mastery of performance marketing, SEO/SEM, CRM, and retention tools.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Other:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Track record of managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience launching and scaling new verticals in quick commerce.
- Network within FMCG brands and delivery ecosystem players.
- Demonstrated ability to drive profitability while scaling operations.
