Solar Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive offerings.
- Analyze market data to identify key opportunities for business growth and expansion.
- Business Development Strategy:Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and customer segments for solar energy solutions.
- Lead Generation and Relationship Building:Generate leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Proposal Development and Presentation:Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized proposals and solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Deliver persuasive presentations to clients, highlighting the benefits and ROI of solar energy solutions.
- Contract Negotiation and Closing:Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, pricing, and financing options with customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative business development strategies.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
