Investment Funds (AIFs) and investment products focussed on retail and HNI customers. We are run by a highly experienced investment team under the leadership of our Founder (IIMA alumnus), who has spent 8+ years at Blackstone (globally the largest alternatives AMC with $1 Trillion AUM). We are backed reputed global VC/PE funds and have already raised $52 Million from Westbridge Capital ($8 Billion India focused Private Equity Fund), Lightspeed Ventures, Beenext Partners and Pravega Ventures.
Today, we are already a 70-member team, with 2.8 Lacs customers and an AUM of ~$150
Million. We plan to launch multiple AIFs in alternatives such as Private Credit, Commercial Real
Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity and Venture Capital. We have 2 offices in India – Bangalore and Mumbai.
What you will do:
We are looking for a high-performing candidate to lead our business development efforts for raising AIFs through multiple channels. The candidate will be responsible for coverage activities which lead to lead fundraising efforts for their respective regions/city , he will lead the entire region (South, North, or West) and directly report to India Head, Business Development who brings over 2 decades of experience in fund raising and asset management space. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing channel strategy in the respective regions, crafting sales plans and delivering on the same.
Coverage activities including Identify the various channels for business development/ funds raising/product empanelment/product onboarding/sales coordination /client meetings with sales teams of channel partners. for different AIFs/investment products
Plan periodic road shows, fund manager meetings, distribution head meetings with IFA/MFD other alliance partners in his region
Possess amazing interpersonal and relationship building skills
Plan for both short and long-term targets for various products to achieve growth and hit sales targets by managing the various channel partners
Own recruiting, coaching and performance monitoring of channel partners. Build and promote strong, long-lasting partner relationships by engaging with them and understanding their needs.
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Spearheads the preparation and presentation to clients of proposals and all client presentations. Engage with end clients whenever needed.
Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics
What you will need to have:
- 5-10 Years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree with MBA in Sales & Marketing or Finance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
