Role Description:


This is a full-time role located on-site in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong background in cost analysis, pricing strategies, and financial modeling. The Costing and Pricing Manager will play a critical role in optimizing pricing structures, enhancing profitability, and supporting strategic decision-making processes for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:


Work with our clients to:


  1. Conduct thorough cost analysis for all products and services, including raw materials, labor, overhead, and other expenses.
  2. Develop and maintain costing models to accurately determine product costs and profitability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather cost data and ensure accuracy of inputs.
  4. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
  5. Develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives, market dynamics, and product positioning.
  6. Monitor pricing performance and profitability metrics, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  7. Prepare comprehensive pricing proposals and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
  8. Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts by providing cost and pricing insights.
  9. Stay informed about industry best practices, regulatory changes, and economic trends affecting pricing and costing.


Qualifications:


  1. Must-have Qualifications: CMA/CA/MBA 
  2. 5-8 years of experience in costing, pricing, or financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and techniques.
  4. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
  5. Experience with ERP systems and costing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
  7. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  8. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  9. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
