About Position


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Observability Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing observability strategies across our technology stack. You will ensure our systems are monitored effectively, helping to maintain high availability, performance, and reliability of our services.

What You'll Do


  • Assist with the Design of the RBAC Model to establish Org guidelines
  • Assist with the defining the tagging strategy & policy
  • Assist with defining log indexation guidelines
  • Creates documentation to support the management and maintenance of the observability tools.
  • Ensure the Observability Tool is Operationalized and industrialized
  • Create High-Level Dashboards (Infrastructure & Application KPIs, Observability platform Usage, Costs Consumption, Accesses, …) including with data visualization in Observability Tool
  • Oversees the Management, configuration and maintenance of the Observability Platform
  • Provides support to all significant production issues by gathering information from the observability platform to analyze for correlations, identifying specific performance causes.
  • Analyzes observability tool data and usage.
  • Communicates weekly with management verbally and via written detailed status reports regarding deployment project problems and concerns
  • Works with different Systems and Application Architecture teams to ensure that systems monitoring requirements are addressed early in the development process. Coordinates with project teams to ensure that monitoring of new applications is available before release for production.
  • Analyse user’s needs and Design the platform solution to answer stakeholders requirements (Network, DataCenters, Cloud, Application Management, …)
  • Work with Ivanti team to connect & Integrate the observability platform with or ITSM tool: Ivanti SoUnified (for INC/SR creation from alerts)
  • App Support: Handle Incidents on the platform (log case, investigate, follow up, communicate to stakeholders)
  • Work with FinOps to Analyse and control the licenses consumption vs allocated budgets
  • Ensure implementations meet security & compliance guidelines
  • Oversee the Handling of Service Requests for :
  • Analysis of performance data
  • Configuration changes
  • New, change, delete accesses (in accordance with RBAC model & security requirements)
  • Performance thresholds
  • Dashboard creation/amendment
  • Setup relevant alerting for monitoring in scope
  • Manage the Service Catalog

Expertise You'll Bring


  • Expertise with DataDog is required.
  • Data Dog Certification (Fundamentals, Log Management, APM and Tracing) desireable
  • English Fluent (French a plus)
  • IT Project Management skills (to help with the integration of the new scopes into the observability platform)
  • Analytic skills
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication
  • Ability to operate with autonomy
  • Experience with another similar tool (APICA, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, Instana, Solarwinds, etc)
