Inviting applications for the role of Should Costing
Job Description: -
2-10 years’ experience in working with manufacturing industry.
A minimum of 1-4 years of experience working in mechanical Should costing / VAVE / Benchmarking projects.
Prepare cost estimation templates for various manufacturing processes and improve their accuracy based on supplier quotes we receive. Turn around quick estimates on RFQs as and when needed.
Prepare Zero based costing.
Thorough understanding of manufacturing process of sheet metal, plastic, casting, forging and machining components.
Experience with Item Master data, BOM structure/costing, engineering change process, etc.
Experience in Value Analysis Value Engineering (VAVE) processes
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, benchmarking, etc.
Broad technical understanding (products, development, manufacturing, product cost analysis, etc.)
Hands-on experience on costing tools like aPriori, TCPCM, Boothroyd Etc.… Preferred
Strong mathematical background, critical thinking, good judgment and decision making.
Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Strong communication skills, presentation skills
Excellent computer skills, data analysis/management, SAP.
Qualifications
Engineering Graduate is preferred
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience
Preferred skills/Competencies
4+ years of relevant experience is required.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience in commodities like casting, stamping, forging, sheet metal, machining etc.
Hands-on experience on costing tools like aPriori, TCPCM, Boothroyd Etc… Preferred
Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills.
