We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead our franchise development efforts and drive client acquisition strategies.


Job Summary:


The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing franchise opportunities while simultaneously driving client acquisition in key markets. This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong understanding of the staffing industry. You will play a crucial role in expanding the company’s reach by bringing in new franchisees and clients while nurturing relationships to ensure long-term success.


Key Responsibilities:


Franchise Development:

Franchise Expansion:

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and recruit potential franchise partners.
  • Manage the franchise development process, including lead generation, initial discussions, negotiations, and onboarding new franchisees.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to create franchise offerings and proposals tailored to different markets.

Franchisee Support:

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to franchisees to help them establish and grow their operations.
  • Ensure that franchisees adhere to company standards, policies, and operational guidelines.
  • Conduct regular franchise performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure business success.


Client Acquisition:


Client Identification & Targeting:

  • Identify potential clients in need of staffing solutions across various industries.
  • Develop and execute client acquisition strategies, targeting businesses that align with the agency’s core services.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of leads and prospects for ongoing business development.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their recruitment needs and offer customized staffing solutions.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure client requirements are met and exceeded.

Negotiation & Contracts:

  • Negotiate terms, agreements, and contracts with both franchisees and clients to ensure mutual benefit.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are aligned with legal standards and company policies.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities for franchise and client growth.
  • Provide insights and data-driven recommendations for strategic planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. (MBA is a plus)
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the staffing/recruitment industry.
  • Proven track record in franchise development and client acquisition.
  • Experience negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Skills:
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and market research tools.
