Job Title: Assistant Manager - Business Development


Location: New Delhi


Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and high-performing professional with experience in the business development and sales of Architectural/Decorative Lighting Products or related Architectural Products. The ideal candidate will excel in customer acquisition and revenue growth while contributing to our company’s innovative and competitive edge in a niche market.


As an Assistant Manager, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build lasting relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors, and High-End Clients, and collaborate with our executive team to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with our business goals. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets is a critical aspect of this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and sales of Architectural and Decorative Lighting Products.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with Architectural and Interior Design firms, Contractors, and Premium Clients.
  • Take ownership of lead conversion, project specifications, and sales closures.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and training sessions.
  • Enhance brand presence through social media outreach and targeted engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless execution of tasks and objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 3–4 years in Architectural or Decorative Lighting sales or related Architectural Products.
  • Education:
  • Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or Lighting Design.
  • Management graduates with an MBA from a reputed institute are preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven ability to engage, demonstrate, and close sales in a premium brand or service-oriented industry.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Attitude: Enthusiastic, driven, and confident with a keen interest in learning ILDL’s product and technology portfolio.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings for demonstration events and travel as needed.
  • Professionalism: Positive conduct in appearance, behavior, and communication.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with the ability to contribute to a collaborative environment.
