Business Development Executive

We are looking for full-time Business Development Executives who will be responsible for creating a strong pipeline of new leads and opportunities through research into the target market, running campaigns, driving social media interactions, and doing cold calls. You will be responsible for generating sales-qualified leads, advancing the sales process with customer meetings and follow-ups, and assisting in achieving sales targets.
You will be responsible for managing the company CRM, updating the sales funnel, and growing through constant lead generation and nurturing.
We prefer candidates with proven ability to create and nurture leads, qualify opportunities, and confidently pitch through their communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the market and create sales leads by researching and identifying potential accounts.
- Manage Sales Pipeline by developing and growing the sales funnel with qualified sales opportunities through cold calls, videoconferencing, emails, and social media channels.
- Coordinate with our technology and platform partners to drive joint marketing activities, source leads, and identify opportunities.
- Create SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads) for the Digital Sales Team to qualify and close.
- Keep the CRM continually updated with leads, accounts, opportunities, and next steps. Keep the sales database organized with relevant parameters for segmenting and targeting the target list.
- Ensure follow-ups with leads by supplying required information and identifying the next steps. Collaborate with appropriate company team members for information or calls with prospects.
- Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions.
- Develop, implement, and manage targeted campaigns to generate and nurture leads across multiple channels.
- Research and connect with key target audiences using social media and collaboration tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Attend and participate in events, team meetings, brainstorming, and training sessions.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of direct work experience with a software solutions company in business development, sales, inside sales, or telesales capacity. Prior experience in selling IT solutions to Banks, Insurance, and Financial Services will be a big plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Journalism & Mass Communication or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English are a must. The candidate must also be able to write engaging point-of-view mailers, documents, social posts, and other sales collateral.
- A consultative, solution-selling approach to sales with experience in the full sales cycle. Demonstrable knowledge of using modern CRM and Social Networking platforms such as Linkedin.
- Experience in executing lead generation campaigns and/or working for a B2B organization or agency
