Job Overview:

As a Power BI Developer, you will be instrumental in enhancing our data visualization and business intelligence capabilities. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who excels in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions to meet complex business requirements.


Responsibilities:

Data Visualization and Reporting:

  • Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Power BI.
  • Create custom visuals tailored to specific data needs.
  • Publish and schedule automated report refreshes to align with business requirements.


  1. Data Integration and Management:
  • Develop tabular and multidimensional models adhering to industry best practices.
  • Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using services like Power BI Embedded or API automation.
  • Implement row-level security on datasets and ensure proper production deployment.


  1. Collaboration and Development:
  • Work collaboratively with analysts and data engineers to understand source data systems and business requirements.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, including building prototypes and consulting on system requirements.
  • Write SQL queries to connect to various data sources and ensure accurate data retrieval.


  1. Strategic Implementation:
  • Understand and interpret business requirements to determine optimal data models, customizing solutions as necessary.
  • Design, develop, and test Power BI solutions to enhance business decision-making.



Requirements:

  • Proficient in MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into impactful visualizations.
  • Experience in operational and automated reporting, with extensive knowledge of database fundamentals, including both multidimensional and relational database design.
  • Ability to quickly adapt data into functional reporting and analytics solutions.
